What does a peer coach do?

Support • Inspire • Motivate

What makes a peer coach?

Peer coaches have lived the experience. They understand your feelings.

They have successfully navigated the social isolation, exclusion and life disruption that are often the results of brain injury.

A peer coach can help you move forward.

Utilizing listening and partnering skills, they provide support and advocacy. Their personal stories inspire and encourage.

Coaches have access to information about your community, available resources, and how the system works.

They help you research your options and plan for the future.

They encourage you to rejoin your community.
